Investment Analyst – Growth Equity
About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly analytical and curious Investment Analyst to join the Growth Equity team at OneVentures.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across sourcing, due diligence, market research and portfolio support. You’ll help evaluate new investment opportunities, research industry trends, assist with analysis and contribute to tracking portfolio performance. The role offers a front-row seat to high-growth technology businesses and exposure to every stage of the investment process.
The ideal candidate is highly numerate, detail-oriented and a collaborative team player with a genuine interest in venture capital and technology investing.

Job Description:
Examples of typical work that the analyst will be involved in includes:
- Financial and metrics analysis
In-depth analysis is core to our investment approach. You’ll build financial models and conduct a broad range of numerical analysis, including financial statements, key metrics, unit economics, sales and marketing effectiveness, valuations, scenario modelling, and market potential. - Pipeline management
Support the sourcing process by reviewing, segmenting, and gathering information on new investment opportunities. You’ll also help improve the systems and processes used to track prospective investments. - Investment due diligence
Work alongside the Investment Team to assess the quality and strategic fit of potential investments and contribute to the preparation of investment papers. - Industry and thematic research
Conduct research into industries, technologies, and market trends to support investment decisions and thematic priorities. - Fund and portfolio reporting
Assist with the preparation of investment materials, transaction documentation, and periodic reporting at both fund and portfolio company levels, supported by clear, insightful commentary.

- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics, or Sciences/ Technology/ Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant sector experience e.g. finance, VC, PE, private or public Funds Management
- Basic understanding of venture capital/private equity and appreciation of the investment approach of the industry
- Strong financial literacy and analytical skillset, including proficiency in building financial models, scenario modelling and returns analyses. Exposure to valuation of software companies will be helpful.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to critically assess your own work to ensure the quality of outputs
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- A team-focused mindset with the ability to complete tasks effectively with guidance
