Our Sydney HQ is looking for a new Employment Hero Super Star to join our dynamic finance team. Following on from our massive growth as well as investment from big guns such as Seek, Airtree Ventures and One Ventures, we are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst in this newly created role to help us sustain this growth and prepare for the future. Reporting to our Finance Manager, this star will be responsible for commandeering our accounts, cutting costs and adding value through developing solutions to problems you encounter throughout your journey with Employment Hero.
The ideal candidate has shown ambition to grow in their previous role and is a self-starter, not willing to settle. You will be fed with support and mentoring from our CFO and Finance Manager and encouraged to develop your technical and interpersonal skills where you will constantly be challenged on a day to day basis, while completing your fully paid CPA. Experience with IT is advantageous as it's what we specialise in, and you will be using technology to solve problems.
This role is not for the faint-hearted - you will be expected to handle ambiguity in the role and be able re-prioritise when the CEO decides one morning to launch a new product. You will have multiple career pathways opportunities, but it is entirely up to you to make this job your own and steer your own direction.

Full control of end-to-end customer journey process: maintaining customer accounts, calculation of monthly billing and running and reconciling customer payments
Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and preparing journals for accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue and asset depreciation
Profit and Loss analysis; identifying outliers and suggesting solutions to reduce expenses
Company expert in our Salesforce CRM and NetSuite ERP systems
Handling internal and external customer queries and providing credit control to maintain cash-flow
Dealing with payments and accounting for both local and foreign currencies
Assisting the CFO and Finance Manager with any ad hoc tasks and projects, as well as the EOFY Audit
BCom or equivalent Accounting degree
Some accounting experience or a super talented graduate
Excellent technical accounting skills
Part CPA qualified or looking to start
